Kalshi Suspends Republican House Candidate for Betting on Her Own Race

The trading platform Kalshi issued a three-year suspension to the candidate, Laurie Buckhout, and fined her nearly $2,600. Ms. Buckhout said she had made a “dumb mistake.”
